Amy Winehouse -Fashion Icon of Soul& Jazz music

Amy Winehouse lived her life with passion, tasted the joy of the glory and the pain quickly. She was a genius and soul of black music, she married pop music with jazz and loved fanatically but paid the price of glory. She was the biggest star of soul music scene and her voice was magical. Emy was defeated by passions at the age of 27 years but will remain forever in ourhearts as a star of music. Emy was also an enigmatic  figure ,with a charismatic voice and unique talent. Emy had personal style and what made it unique was the movements of her body on stage ,the emotion which she derived through the songs, the dress, the eyes of eyeliner, the strange hairstyle, big earrings and many tattoos all seemed like an unconventional girl with influences from 60's and Jazz music.

Amy was very skinny and cute,as a romantic girl with rock influences. She used to put very black eyeliner, such as Maria Kallas ,to dress in romantic dress style 50 s-60s, the hair of old-style 60, usually tied back with a ribbon on her head! I think Amy was supporting the look and didn't want to cause the interest of Media. As for her appearances always used to wear mini dresses with waist belt ,always pink ballerinas ballet with shorts. Amy has created fashion rules and influenced the style and even great fashion designers such as Karl Lagerfeld first noticed the unique style ,from which inspired an entire fashion show by Amy. She was a fashion icon ,created her own personal style. Last year, Amy worked with the firm of Fred Perry to create her own personal clothing line. Amy's voice will always speak to the souls of her fans and the style will be a model for many girls..

Milano ''my City'' !

Milan is one of the most fashionable cities  located in North Italy and is the capital of the region of  Lombardy. One of my favorite in Milan places is in  Piazza del Duomo, the Central Square it's named after the Milan Cathedral and Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II. I believe that the most fashionable areas are Via Montenapoleone, Via della  Spiga, Via Manzoni, and  in Piazza San Babila. I would also say  that in Corso Buenos Aires , are many street  shops with stylish clothes and beautiful shoes at low cost prices. In Porta Venezia you can find all kinds of clothing, such as from Zara and H&M to Stefanel and Ovs which is one of my favorite shops!Corso Buenos Aires is one of the busiest streets in Europe with many street brand names, small shops with new italian fashion designers. There you also find many italian restaurants, along the road there are several other with international cuisine and low cost prices such as chinese.

In Gallery Montenapoleone you can shop from my favorite store of  Prada &Prada Fratelli  collector bags, shoes clothes from collections, you can visit Gucci cafe and drink a cappucino or Shakerato (i love it)! Also in Gucci store you can find beautiful collectible handbags and unique sunglasses but still small delicious wonderful Gc small chocolates. Definitely worth to buy a pair of amazing soft skin gloves from the famous Piumelli store! La Rinascente  is the largest department store with big names in fashion, cosmetics ,fragrances, female and male clothing and a lovely rooftop cafe with panoramic views. One of my favourite shops are located in Duomo such as Twin-set of Simona Barbieri with elegant youthful clothes, Max&Co which has reasonable prices and wonderful quality, Max Mara the definition of elegant made in Italy! Also there are many high street shops such as Mango, Diesel, Abercrombie ,D&G and Camomilla, Bagatt ,Furla the route of San Babila. My favorite shop cosmetics perfectly amazing prices are Kiko and then Limoni.

Brera is the area I have in my heart,  combines the old with a classy romantic Boem! I love walking the cobblestone streets of Brera ,to loiter with the architecture of old buildings, drinking apperitivo at my favorite bar'' Jamaika'', haunt of intellectuals. Also Brera is famous for its good cuisine, there is my favorite trattoria ''Caimano'' with the most delicious italian cuisine. As for shopping you will find many vintage shops in Brera but the best is Cavalli e Nastri where you can find  from Chanel vintage up to Gucci handbags ,clothes and jewelry .

Looking for a unique watch will recommend you to visit Grimoldi shop ,there you will find unique elegant watches but a bit expensive! If you want something cheaper but stylish men's watches are Breil or Toy Watch. If you want to allocate money should visit Via Montenapoleone ,are many luxury shops such as Fabi italian shoes, Jimmy Choo,Fendi ,Giorgio ArmaniGucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Moschino,Miu Miu, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Hermes, Chanel .In Via Montenapoleone also worth a visit in Cova cafe to taste the sweet Tiramisu ,or a panino! Milan is the perfect destination for any fashionista especially during the month of September which  made the Fashion shows! Corfu -Grecian Style by Demi-Jo

I was on holiday until recently in Corfu, one of my favourite summer destinations is a beautiful Greek island located in the Ionian with italian influences. Corfu is characterized by the Venetian Point , it is a cosmopolitan city that exudes a sense of nobility, with the main attractions of the big Square Esplanade ,the old and new Castle,City Hall , Mon Repos  Achilleion and beaches with blue seas.  I prefered to wear maxi dresses with colorful flowers combined with gladiator style shoes and colored crocodile leather bags! As for the beach  i prefered to wear swimwear with shorts and scarf hanging on the head.

Achilleion Corfu- Grecian Style by DemiJo

Achilleion is a palace built in Corfu by Empress of Austria Elisabeth of Bavaria, also known as Sisi! Sisi was a very beautiful woman, powerful but tragically vulnerable. The Palace was built in 1890 ,was designed with the mythical hero Achilles as its central theme. She has become a historical icon, is consired to have been a non-conformist who abhorred protocol and at the same time a tragic figure! Queen Elisabeth of Austria has been one of my favourites royal historical icons ,and has inspired me not only for her beauty but for her personality.I think anyone deserves to visit Achilleion least once in his life,to feel like a Queen or King in the Royal gardens of the Palace!

Fashion Turbans the new obsession!

Grace Kelly

Turban is a popular hair accessory worn in Middle East, North Africa and Southwest Asia. Many celebrities and style icons wore turban in the past such as Princess Grace Kelly, Madame Gres, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Elizabeth Taylor. They have historically been associated with the Arab dress, with Hollywood Glamour of the 1920s. Recently became again fashion trend, has been worn by Sarah Jessica Parker at ''Sex and the city 2''  , by Kate Moss at the Met Gala in 2009 .There are many street fashionistas and stylists such as Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Lopez, Mary Ashley Olsen, Nini, Glamourai who wear turbans. Also in New York Jason Wu styled his spring collection with black turbans and Giorgio Armani used North-Africa inspired turbans for his colletion!

Wearing a turban  demands personal style ,confidence and knowledge of fashion trends. I believe that is a very smart choice for a chic outfit. From silk to wool,  it can be worn with an evening look !I like turban combined with maxi dresses and long earings. I suggest that turban to every woman who believes truly on her style and wants to create a fresh elegant style .It is so fashionable, that can be worn from fashion shows up to city streets..
